Уязвимость функции ReadGifImageDesc() (gifread.c) библиотеки HDF5 вызвана выходом операции за границы буфера в памяти. Эксплуатация уязвимости может позволить нарушителю, действующему удалённо, вызвать отказ в обслуживании при помощи специально сформированного HDF5 -файла
