Уязвимость функции assert() сервера atftpd связана с ошибками освобождения ресурсов. Эксплуатация уязвимости может позволить нарушителю, действующему удалённо, вызвать отказ в обслуживании с помощью специально сформированной последовательности запросов RRQ-Multicast
