Уязвимость в Microsoft Windows Embedded OpenType (EOT), связанная с некорректным разбором шрифтов
Описание
Злоумышленник, успешно воспользовавшись этой уязвимостью, способен читать данные, которые не предназначены для разглашения. Хотя данная уязвимость не позволяет злоумышленнику выполнять код или повышать уровень доступа прямо, она может быть использована для получения информации с целью дальнейшего компрометации уязвимой системы.
Условия эксплуатации
Чтобы эксплуатировать эту уязвимость, злоумышленнику необходимо войти в систему, подверженную уязвимости, и открыть документ, содержащий специально созданные шрифты.
Решение
Обновление безопасности устраняет уязвимость путем корректировки обработки встроенных шрифтов шрифтовым движком Windows EOT.
