Уязвимость повышения уровня доступа в Windows Storage Service из-за некорректной обработки операций файловой системы

Описание

Злоумышленник, который успешно воспользовался этой уязвимостью, способен получить повышенный уровень доступа на системе жертвы.

Условия эксплуатации

Чтобы воспользоваться уязвимостью, злоумышленнику необходимо сначала получить возможность выполнения кода на системе жертвы, а затем запустить специально разработанное приложение.

Решение

Обновление безопасности устраняет уязвимость путем корректировки обработки операций файловой системы службой Storage Service.

An elevation of privilege vulnerability exists when the Storage Service improperly handles file operations. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could gain elevated privileges on the victim system. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker would first have to gain execution on the victim system, then run a specially crafted application. The security update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how the Storage Services handles file operations.
