Описание

Уязвимость использования после освобождения была обнаружена в функции nsTextEditorState::PrepareEditor в Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird и SeaMonkey. Эта уязвимость позволяет удалённым злоумышленникам выполнять произвольный код или вызывать DoS атаку через повреждение памяти в куче. Для успешной атаки злоумышленники могут использовать неуказанные векторы атаки. Данная проблема является отдельной уязвимостью от CVE-2012-4214.
