The Bluetooth RFCOMM implementation in the Linux kernel before 3.6 does not properly initialize certain structures, which allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory via a crafted application.

This issue does not affect the version of the kernel package as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2. This issue affects the versions of Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. Future kernel updates for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 may address this issue.
