CVE-2014-2580

Опубликовано: 24 мар. 2014
Источник: redhat
CVSS2: 5.2

Описание

The netback driver in Xen, when using certain Linux versions that do not allow sleeping in softirq context, allows local guest administrators to cause a denial of service ("scheduling while atomic" error and host crash) via a malformed packet, which causes a mutex to be taken when trying to disable the interface.

Отчет

Not vulnerable. This issue does not affect the versions of the kernel-xen package as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. This issue does not affect versions of Linux kernel packages as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2 as they do not have support for Xen hypervisor.
