In Exiv2 0.26 and previous versions, PngChunk::readRawProfile in pngchunk_int.cpp may cause a denial of service (application crash due to a heap-based buffer over-read) via a crafted PNG file.

This issue affects the versions of exiv2 as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is now in Maintenance Support 2 Phase of the support and maintenance life cycle.
