In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFC: nci: fix memory leak in nci_allocate_device
nfcmrvl_disconnect fails to free the hci_dev field in struct nci_dev.
Fix this by freeing hci_dev in nci_free_device.

A flaw was found in the nfc module in the Linux kernel. The nfcmrvl_disconnect function does not free the hci_dev field in the struct nci_dev, causing a memory leak, potentially impacting system performance and resulting in a denial of service.

The nfc module is not built in the kernel shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, so it is not affected by this vulnerability.
