Описание
A single-byte, non-arbitrary write/use-after-free flaw was found in dnsmasq. This flaw allows an attacker who sends a crafted packet processed by dnsmasq, potentially causing a denial of service.
Отчет
The severity of this flaw was set to Moderate because this is a 1-byte out-of-bounds write/use-after-free issue where the attacker does not control the data written (it is predefined in a header file). The highest impact is only to availability.
