Описание
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
pstore/ram: Add check for kstrdup
Add check for the return value of kstrdup() and return the error
if it fails in order to avoid NULL pointer dereference.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's pstore/ram component. This vulnerability, a type of memory corruption, arises from insufficient error handling when allocating memory. A local user could exploit this to cause a system crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS).
