In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bonding: fix null pointer deref in bond_ipsec_offload_ok
We must check if there is an active slave before dereferencing the pointer.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's bonding module. A local attacker could exploit a null pointer dereference in the bond_ipsec_offload_ok function. This occurs because the system does not verify the presence of an active slave before attempting to dereference a pointer, which can lead to a system crash and result in a Denial of Service (DoS).
