Описание
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: btintel_pcie: Allocate memory for driver private data
Fix driver not allocating memory for struct btintel_data which is used
to store internal data.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s btintel_pcie driver. This issue is caused by a failure to allocate memory for the btintel_data structure, which stores essential internal driver data for Intel Bluetooth devices, possibly leading to system instability or crashes due to uninitialized memory access.
Отчет
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is not vulnerable to this CVE, as it does not affect the versions or configurations of the Linux kernel used in its distributions.
Меры по смягчению последствий
Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
