Описание
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Adding array index check to prevent memory corruption
[Why & How]
Array indices out of bound caused memory corruption. Adding checks to
ensure that array index stays in bound.
A flaw was found in the drm/amd/display component of the Linux kernel. This vulnerability, caused by a missing array index check, could allow a local attacker with low privileges to corrupt memory. Successful exploitation could lead to a denial of service, information disclosure, or potentially allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code, thereby compromising the system.
Меры по смягчению последствий
Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base, or stability.
