Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. A flaw was found in the audit component of MySQL. An authenticated remote attacker with low privileges can exploit this vulnerability over the network across multiple protocols. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the database service.
