Easily exploitable vulnerability allows high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. A flaw was found in MySQL. An authenticated, remote attacker with high privileges could cause a complete Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a vulnerability in the Group Replication component over the network. Successful exploitation causes the server or cluster to hang or crash repeatedly, disrupting database availability.
