Supported versions that are affected are MySQL Server: 26.7.0-26.7.1; MySQL Cluster: 26.7.0-26.7.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. A flaw was found in MySQL client programs. An authenticated attacker with network access and low privileges could exploit this vulnerability across multiple protocols. A successful attack allows the threat actor to cause an application hang or repeated crash, resulting in a complete Denial of Service (DoS) of the database service.
