Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of MySQL Server, MySQL Cluster. A flaw was found in the MySQL Server replication component. An unauthenticated remote attacker with network access could exploit this vulnerability to create, delete, or modify critical database data. A successful attack can also lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by causing the server to hang or repeatedly crash.
