In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu/vcn3: Prevent OOB reads when parsing dec msg
Check bounds against the end of the BO whenever we access the msg.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's drm/amdgpu/vcn3 component. This vulnerability, an Out-of-Bounds (OOB) read, occurs when parsing decoder messages without proper boundary checks. A local attacker could potentially exploit this to read sensitive information from memory or cause system instability, leading to a denial of service.
