In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, sockmap: Fix af_unix iter deadlock bpf_iter_unix_seq_show() may deadlock when lock_sock_fast() takes the fast path and the iter prog attempts to update a sockmap. A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Berkeley Packet Filter (BPF) sockmap component. A deadlock can occur in the bpf_iter_unix_seq_show() function when an iterator program attempts to update a sockmap while a lock is already held. This recursive locking scenario can lead to a system freeze or unresponsiveness, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
