Описание
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: do not reuse cached ip_hdr() value after skb_tunnel_check_pmtu()
skb_tunnel_check_pmtu() can change skb->head.
Reusing old_iph afer skb_tunnel_check_pmtu() can cause an UAF.
Use instead ip_hdr(skb) as done in drivers/net/bareudp.c
and drivers/net/geneve.c.
Found by Sashiko.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) module. This vulnerability occurs because a cached IP header pointer is improperly reused after a Path Maximum Transmission Unit (PMTU) check. When the packet's head is modified during the PMTU check, the old cached IP header pointer becomes invalid, leading to a Use-After-Free (UAF) condition. This memory corruption flaw can potentially allow an attacker to cause a system crash or execute arbitrary code.
