CVE-2026-64000

Опубликовано: 19 июл. 2026
Источник: redhat
CVSS3: 7

Описание

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hsr: fix potential OOB access in supervision frame handling Ensure the entire TLV header is linearized before access by adding sizeof(struct hsr_sup_tlv) to the pskb_may_pull() calls. Without this, a truncated frame could cause an out-of-bounds access.

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's High-availability Seamless Redundancy (HSR) module. This vulnerability allows an attacker to cause an out-of-bounds (OOB) access by sending a specially crafted, truncated supervision frame. The issue arises because the system does not ensure the entire TLV (Type-Length-Value) header is properly processed before memory access. This could lead to system instability or denial of service.
