In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mtd: virt_concat: fix use-after-free in mtd_virt_concat_destroy_joins()
mtd_concat_destroy() frees item->concat so calling
mtd_virt_concat_put_mtd_devices(item->concat) leads to a use after free.
Fix this by moving mtd_virt_concat_put_mtd_devices() before
mtd_concat_destroy()
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's mtd_virt_concat module. This use-after-free vulnerability occurs when the mtd_concat_destroy() function frees memory before it is no longer referenced by mtd_virt_concat_put_mtd_devices(). An attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to cause memory corruption, which may lead to a denial of service or other impacts on system stability.

This issue affects virtual MTD concat join devices. Same UAF pattern as CVE-2026-68423 in destroy_joins path. Systems not using virt_concat MTD are not affected.
