In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_meta_bridge: fix NFT_META_BRI_IIFPVID stack leak
This needs to test for nonzero retval.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's netfilter component, specifically within the nft_meta_bridge module. This vulnerability, a stack leak, occurs due to improper handling of return values, which fails to test for nonzero results. An attacker could potentially exploit this issue to gain access to sensitive information from the kernel's memory.
