A background script invoking <code>requestFullscreen</code> and then blocking the main thread could force the browser into fullscreen mode indefinitely, resulting in potential user confusion or spoofing attacks. While implementing AudioWorklets, some code may have casted one type to another, invalid, dynamic type. This could have led to a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 111, Firefox ESR < 102.9, and Thunderbird < 102.9.

An invalid downcast from <code>nsTextNode</code> to <code>SVGElement</code> could have lead to undefined behavior. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 110, Thunderbird < 102.8, and Firefox ESR < 102.8.

When dragging and dropping an image cross-origin, the image's size could potentially be leaked. This behavior was shipped in 109 and caused web compatibility problems as well as this security concern, so the behavior was disabled until further review. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 110.

A duplicate <code>SystemPrincipal</code> object could be created when parsing a non-system html document via <code>DOMParser::ParseFromSafeString</code>. This could have lead to bypassing web security checks. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109.

A compromised web child process could disable web security opening restrictions, leading to a new child process being spawned within the <code>file://</code> context. Given a reliable exploit primitive, this new process could be exploited again leading to arbitrary file read. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 109.

Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 109. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 110.

Mozilla developers and community members Gabriele Svelto, Andrew Osmond, Emily McDonough, Sebastian Hengst, Andrew McCreight and the Mozilla Fuzzing Team reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 112 and Firefox ESR 102.10. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 113, Firefox ESR < 102.11, and Thunderbird < 102.11.
