CVE-2026-23057
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vsock/virtio: Coalesce only linear skb vsock/virtio common tries to coalesce buffers in rx queue: if a linear skb (with a spare tail room) is followed by a small skb (length limited by GOOD_COPY_LEN = 128), an attempt is made to join them. Since the introduction of MSG_ZEROCOPY support, assumption that a small skb will always be linear is incorrect. In the zerocopy case, data is lost and the linear skb is appended with uninitialized kernel memory. Of all 3 supported virtio-based transports, only loopback-transport is affected. G2H virtio-transport rx queue operates on explicitly linear skbs; see virtio_vsock_alloc_linear_skb() in virtio_vsock_rx_fill(). H2G vhost-transport may allocate non-linear skbs, but only for sizes that are not considered for coalescence; see PAGE_ALLOC_COSTLY_ORDER in virtio_vsock_alloc_skb(). Ensure only linear skbs are coalesced. Note that skb_tailroom(last_skb) > 0 guarantees last_skb is l...
CVE-2026-23056
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uacce: implement mremap in uacce_vm_ops to return -EPERM The current uacce_vm_ops does not support the mremap operation of vm_operations_struct. Implement .mremap to return -EPERM to remind users. The reason we need to explicitly disable mremap is that when the driver does not implement .mremap, it uses the default mremap method. This could lead to a risk scenario: An application might first mmap address p1, then mremap to p2, followed by munmap(p1), and finally munmap(p2). Since the default mremap copies the original vma's vm_private_data (i.e., q) to the new vma, both munmap operations would trigger vma_close, causing q->qfr to be freed twice(qfr will be set to null here, so repeated release is ok).

CVE-2026-23054
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hv_netvsc: reject RSS hash key programming without RX indirection table RSS configuration requires a valid RX indirection table. When the device reports a single receive queue, rndis_filter_device_add() does not allocate an indirection table, accepting RSS hash key updates in this state leads to a hang. Fix this by gating netvsc_set_rxfh() on ndc->rx_table_sz and return -EOPNOTSUPP when the table is absent. This aligns set_rxfh with the device capabilities and prevents incorrect behavior.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFS: Fix a deadlock involving nfs_release_folio() Wang Zhaolong reports a deadlock involving NFSv4.1 state recovery waiting on kthreadd, which is attempting to reclaim memory by calling nfs_release_folio(). The latter cannot make progress due to state recovery being needed. It seems that the only safe thing to do here is to kick off a writeback of the folio, without waiting for completion, or else kicking off an asynchronous commit.
CVE-2026-23052
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ftrace: Do not over-allocate ftrace memory The pg_remaining calculation in ftrace_process_locs() assumes that ENTRIES_PER_PAGE multiplied by 2^order equals the actual capacity of the allocated page group. However, ENTRIES_PER_PAGE is PAGE_SIZE / ENTRY_SIZE (integer division). When PAGE_SIZE is not a multiple of ENTRY_SIZE (e.g. 4096 / 24 = 170 with remainder 16), high-order allocations (like 256 pages) have significantly more capacity than 256 * 170. This leads to pg_remaining being underestimated, which in turn makes skip (derived from skipped - pg_remaining) larger than expected, causing the WARN(skip != remaining) to trigger. Extra allocated pages for ftrace: 2 with 654 skipped WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 0 at kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7295 ftrace_process_locs+0x5bf/0x5e0 A similar problem in ftrace_allocate_records() can result in allocating too many pages. CVE-2026-23044
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PM: hibernate: Fix crash when freeing invalid crypto compressor When crypto_alloc_acomp() fails, it returns an ERR_PTR value, not NULL. The cleanup code in save_compressed_image() and load_compressed_image() unconditionally calls crypto_free_acomp() without checking for ERR_PTR, which causes crypto_acomp_tfm() to dereference an invalid pointer and crash the kernel. This can be triggered when the compression algorithm is unavailable (e.g., CONFIG_CRYPTO_LZO not enabled). Fix by adding IS_ERR_OR_NULL() checks before calling crypto_free_acomp() and acomp_request_free(), similar to the existing kthread_stop() check. [ rjw: Added 2 empty code lines ]

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix NULL pointer dereference in do_abort_log_replay() Coverity reported a NULL pointer dereference issue (CID 1666756) in do_abort_log_replay(). When btrfs_alloc_path() fails in replay_one_buffer(), wc->subvol_path is NULL, but btrfs_abort_log_replay() calls do_abort_log_replay() which unconditionally dereferences wc->subvol_path when attempting to print debug information. Fix this by adding a NULL check before dereferencing wc->subvol_path in do_abort_log_replay().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: fix aux device unplugging when rdma is not supported by vport If vport flags do not contain VIRTCHNL2_VPORT_ENABLE_RDMA, driver does not allocate vdev_info for this vport. This leads to kernel NULL pointer dereference in idpf_idc_vport_dev_down(), which references vdev_info for every vport regardless. Check, if vdev_info was ever allocated before unplugging aux device.
CVE-2026-23041
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Fix NULL pointer crash in bnxt_ptp_enable during error cleanup When bnxt_init_one() fails during initialization (e.g., bnxt_init_int_mode returns -ENODEV), the error path calls bnxt_free_hwrm_resources() which destroys the DMA pool and sets bp->hwrm_dma_pool to NULL. Subsequently, bnxt_ptp_clear() is called, which invokes ptp_clock_unregister(). Since commit a60fc3294a37 ("ptp: rework ptp_clock_unregister() to disable events"), ptp_clock_unregister() now calls ptp_disable_all_events(), which in turn invokes the driver's .enable() callback (bnxt_ptp_enable()) to disable PTP events before completing the unregistration. bnxt_ptp_enable() attempts to send HWRM commands via bnxt_ptp_cfg_pin() and bnxt_ptp_cfg_event(), both of which call hwrm_req_init(). This function tries to allocate from bp->hwrm_dma_pool, causing a NULL pointer dereference: bnxt_en 0000:01:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): bnxt_init_...

CVE-2026-23044 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PM: hibernate: Fix crash when freeing invalid crypto compressor When crypto_alloc_acomp() fails, it returns an ERR_PTR value, not NULL. CVE-2026-23043 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: fix NULL pointer dereference in do_abort_log_replay() Coverity reported a NULL pointer dereference issue (CID 1666756) in do_abort_log_replay(). | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад
CVE-2026-23042 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: fix aux device unplugging when rdma is not supported by vport If vport flags do not contain VIRTCHNL2_VPORT_ENABLE_RDMA, driver does not allocate vdev_info for this vport. This leads to kernel NULL pointer dereference in idpf_idc_vport_dev_down(), which references vdev_info for every vport regardless. Check, if vdev_info was ever allocated before unplugging aux device. | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад
CVE-2026-23041 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bnxt_en: Fix NULL pointer crash in bnxt_ptp_enable during error cleanup When bnxt_init_one() fails during initialization (e.g., bnxt_init_int_mode returns -ENODEV), the error path calls bnxt_free_hwrm_resources() which destroys the DMA pool and sets bp->hwrm_dma_pool to NULL. | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад
CVE-2026-23040 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211_hwsim: fix typo in frequency notification The NAN notification is for 5745 MHz which corresponds to channel 149 and not 5475 which is not actually a valid channel. This could result in a NULL pointer dereference in cfg80211_next_nan_dw_notif. | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад
CVE-2026-23039 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gud: fix NULL fb and crtc dereferences on USB disconnect On disconnect drm_atomic_helper_disable_all() is called which sets both the fb and crtc for a plane to NULL before invoking a commit. This causes a kernel oops on every display disconnect. Add guards for those dereferences. | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад
CVE-2026-23038 In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pnfs/flexfiles: Fix memory leak in nfs4_ff_alloc_deviceid_node() In nfs4_ff_alloc_deviceid_node(), if the allocation for ds_versions fails, the function jumps to the out_scratch label without freeing the already allocated dsaddrs list, leading to a memory leak. Fix this by jumping to the out_err_drain_dsaddrs label, which properly frees the dsaddrs list before cleaning up other resources. | 0% Низкий | 8 месяцев назад |
