The Slider Revolution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in versions 7.0.0 to 7.0.10 via the '_get_media_url' and '_check_file_path' function. This is due to insufficient file type validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 7.0.10 and fully patched in version 7.0.11.

An attacker could therefore terminate the quoted attribute or inject additional HTML elements and event-handler attributes. Pivotick contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the inspect and edit node modals. Node labels and descriptions originating from graph data were interpolated directly into HTML used to construct the modal headers. An attacker able to supply or modify graph data could insert a malicious HTML or JavaScript payload into a node’s label or description. The payload would be parsed and executed in the application’s origin when a user opened the affected node’s inspect or edit modal. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to access information available to the victim, modify application data, or perform actions using the victim’s active session. The vulnerability has been addressed by creating the modal elements without embedding graph data in HTML and assigning node labels and descriptions through textContent.

When a victim loads or renders the malicious graph, the payload may execute arbitrary JavaScript in the security context of the application embedding Pivotick. The Pluggable subclass reads credential_source.executable.command from the credentials JSON and runs it as `system($command)`, a single argument call that passes the whole string to /bin/sh -c. The executable's environment_variables map from the same JSON is copied into %ENV first. No opt-in gate guards the call. make_creds selects the Pluggable subclass whenever credential_source.executable is present, so the path is reached from the standard Application Default Credentials flow, including a "type": "external_account" configuration read from the file named by GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS. Configurations without credential_source.executable do not select this subclass and do not reach the call. Any caller that builds credentials from a configuration it does not fully control runs the embedded command with the privileges of the application process.

A .livemd notebook can declare file_entries metadata, each entry carrying a name.
