A security flaw has been discovered in GPAC up to 2.4.0. Affected is the function MergeFragment of the file src/isomedia/isom_intern.c of the component MP4Box. The manipulation results in null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The patch is identified as 525bf1af642c30af04e4df5345e6d798c0a4d8a1. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue.
CVE-2026-9549
Stored cross-site scripting in the service discovery active check output in Checkmk <2.5.0p5, <2.4.0p31, <2.3.0p48, and all 2.2.0 versions allows an administrator who can configure active or custom checks to inject malicious HTML or JavaScript into check output that executes in the browser of an admin or a user with host read permissions when they run the check on the service discovery page.
CVE-2026-9547
When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://` and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack.
CVE-2026-9546
A vulnerability in libcurl caused the HTTP `Referer:` header to persist even when explicitly cleared. While the documentation states that passing NULL to `CURLOPT_REFERER` suppresses the header, the option failed to clear the internal state. As a result the previous referrer string was erroneously reused and sent in subsequent requests, potentially leaking sensitive information to unintended servers.
CVE-2026-9545
In this scenario, libcurl first uses a proper HTTP/3 server for the initial transfers, and when it makes a second transfer to the same site it has been replaced by the attacker's impostor machine - without a valid certificate. When libcurl returns to the hostname the second time with a cached SSL session (`CURLOPT_SSL_SESSIONID_CACHE` is not disabled) and early data enabled (the `CURLSSLOPT_EARLYDATA` bit is set in `CURLOPT_SSL_OPTIONS`), libcurl might send off the second request's bytes on that new connection *before* enforcing the certificate verification failure. Potentially leaking sensitive information.
CVE-2026-9541
A security flaw has been discovered in Squirrel up to 3.2. Impacted is the function ReadObject of the file squirrel/sqobject.cpp of the component Cnut File Handler. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack is only possible with local access. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-9539
An out-of-bounds heap read and integer underflow in the TCP urgent data handling (sosendoob) in freedesktop.org libslirp version before v4.9.2 on hypervisor host environments (e.g., QEMU) allows a privileged guest VM attacker (root or CAP_NET_RAW) to leak gigabytes of sensitive host-process heap memory via sending crafted TCP segments with manipulated URG flags and urgent pointers (ti_urp).
CVE-2026-9538
Archive::Tar versions before 3.10 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via attacker controlled entry size field in tar header. _read_tar() reads each entry's payload with $handle->read($$data, $block), where $block is derived from the entry's 12-byte size field in the tar header with no upper bound on that value. A crafted header declaring a multi-gigabyte size causes Perl to allocate a scalar of that size.
CVE-2026-9537
Mojo::JWT versions before 1.02 for Perl verify HMAC signatures with a non-constant-time string comparison. The decode() method compares the supplied signature to the recomputed HMAC with Perl's eq operator, which stops at the first differing byte, so the comparison time varies with the number of matching leading bytes. A caller that decodes attacker supplied tokens leaks the expected signature through this timing variation, which can be aggregated over many requests to recover the signature and forge a token.
CVE-2026-9516
Cpanel::JSON::XS versions before 4.41 for Perl allow denial of service via UTF-8 BOM prefixed input when a decode filter callback throws. To skip a leading 3-byte UTF-8 BOM, decode_json() advances the input scalar's string pointer past the mark with SvPV_set() and restores it only on the normal return path. When decoding aborts through a Perl exception, for example a filter_json_object callback that croaks, the restore is skipped and the scalar is left with its string pointer offset into its own buffer and a shortened length. When that scalar is later freed, the allocator receives an invalid pointer and the interpreter aborts. A single BOM prefixed document decoded with a throwing filter callback crashes any caller.
CVE-2026-9499
An out-of-bounds read (buffer over-read) vulnerability exists in QTextCodec::codecForName() in Qt. When the function is called with a QByteArray that is not NUL-terminated (for example, one created with QByteArray::fromRawData()), the codec-name matching routine reads past the end of the supplied buffer. In most cases this results in an incorrect text codec being selected; in the worst case, if the over-read reaches unmapped memory, the process crashes (denial of service). The over-read is bounded by the length of the longest codec-name candidate, and the out-of-bounds bytes are only compared internally against Qt's fixed list of codec names, so no data is disclosed to an attacker. Applications that do not pass non-NUL-terminated QByteArrays to QTextCodec::codecForName() are not exposed. The affected code resides in the Qt5Compat module from Qt 6.0.0 onward, and in Qt Core (qtbase) in Qt 4.x and Qt 5.x.
CVE-2026-9496
Versions of the package pacote from 11.2.7 and before 21.5.1 are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) via the addGitSha function. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a specially crafted spec.rawSpec value that triggers the function’s regex replacement and string-manipulation logic, causing excessive CPU consumption and potentially stalling or crashing the process.
CVE-2026-9494
An information disclosure vulnerability exists in Canonical ubuntu-pro-client (formerly ubuntu-advantage-tools). The client validates Ubuntu Pro APT credentials by executing /usr/lib/apt/apt-helper using the download-file command. During this process, the secret bearer token is embedded directly in the cleartext URL component passed via the command-line arguments (argv), resulting in a URL format such as https://bearer:<token>@esm.ubuntu.com/.../. On systems utilizing a default-mounted /proc file system where process-hiding mitigations (such as hidepid) are disabled, an unprivileged local attacker can monitor system processes and read the sensitive bearer token directly from /proc/cmdline while the helper process is actively running. This leaked token can subsequently be used to gain unauthorized access to the victim's Ubuntu Pro or Expanded Security Maintenance (ESM) repositories.

A vulnerability has been found in Ettercap up to 0.8.3. The affected element is the function FUNC_DECODER of the file src/dissectors/ec_gg.c of the component GG Dissector. The manipulation of the argument gg leads to heap-based buffer overflow. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitability is described as difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 0.8.4 is sufficient to fix this issue. The identifier of the patch is feeae6fa366e01a3dd9f1857ec6aae847b2ae00c. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.
CVE-2026-9358
A vulnerability was determined in postcss-selector-parser up to 6.1.2/7.1.2. Affected is the function toString of the file src/selectors/container.js of the component AST Serialization. Executing a manipulation can lead to uncontrolled recursion. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. Upgrading to version 6.1.3 and 7.1.3 is able to address this issue. This patch is called 5bc698cef66f8abd12610dc623e5d67cbc0f869d. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor explains, that according to his definition "DoS on server-side on user-generated CSS is low risk for us (since most users compile own CSS with PostCSS)." The commits were backported to 6.x branch, which was the most downloaded version.
CVE-2026-9335
A vulnerability in keras-team/keras versions <= 3.14.0 allows arbitrary local HDF5 file content disclosure due to improper handling of HDF5 ExternalLinks. The `KerasFileEditor` and `keras.saving.load_weights` functions bypass the `safe_get_h5_group` and `safe_get_h5_dataset` helpers, which are designed to reject ExternalLinks and SoftLinks. This results in automatic dereferencing of links to external HDF5 files, enabling attackers to disclose sensitive data from the victim's local filesystem. Specifically, `KerasFileEditor` extracts attributes and datasets from linked files into its internal structures, while `keras.saving.load_weights` loads weights from linked files into the user's model. This issue can be exploited by providing a malicious `.h5`, `.weights.h5`, or `.keras` file containing ExternalLinks.
CVE-2026-9334
Cpanel::JSON::XS versions before 4.41 for Perl allow type confusion via duplicate object keys when dupkeys_as_arrayref is enabled. decode_hv() collapses duplicate object keys into an array reference under dupkeys_as_arrayref. The branch reached for a duplicate key tests `SvTYPE (old_value) != SVt_RV && SvTYPE (SvRV (old_value)) != SVt_PVAV`, which evaluates SvRV(old_value) before establishing that old_value is a reference. When the existing value is a plain scalar rather than an array reference, a non-reference scalar is dereferenced as a reference. A caller decoding untrusted JSON with dupkeys_as_arrayref enabled is crashed, and the incompatible access follows a pointer taken from attacker controlled scalar contents.
CVE-2026-9323
The urwid web display backend (urwid/display/web.py) generates web session identifiers (urwid_id) in Screen.start() by concatenating two random.randrange(10**9) calls that use Python's Mersenne Twister PRNG, which is not cryptographically secure. Each call consumes approximately 30 bits of PRNG state, and the Mersenne Twister internal state is approximately 19,937 bits, so an attacker who observes approximately 334 session IDs (for example via the X-Urwid-ID HTTP response header) can fully reconstruct the internal state and predict all past and future session IDs (Path B). The same identifier is also used as the filename of a FIFO created in the world-listable /tmp directory (for example /tmp/urwid375487765176907690.in), so any local user on the host can list /tmp to enumerate active session tokens directly (Path A). With a valid session ID, an attacker can read the victim's terminal screen via the polling endpoint, inject keystrokes into the victim's session (yielding OS-level code...
