CVE-2026-31419

4 месяца назад

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bonding: fix use-after-free in bond_xmit_broadcast() bond_xmit_broadcast() reuses the original skb for the last slave (determined by bond_is_last_slave()) and clones it for others. Concurrent slave enslave/release can mutate the slave list during RCU-protected iteration, changing which slave is "last" mid-loop. This causes the original skb to be double-consumed (double-freed). Replace the racy bond_is_last_slave() check with a simple index comparison (i + 1 == slaves_count) against the pre-snapshot slave count taken via READ_ONCE() before the loop. This preserves the zero-copy optimization for the last slave while making the "last" determination stable against concurrent list mutations. The UAF can trigger the following crash: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in skb_clone Read of size 8 at addr ffff888100ef8d40 by task exploit/147 CPU: 1 UID: 0 ...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: ipset: drop logically empty buckets in mtype_del mtype_del() counts empty slots below n->pos in k, but it only drops the bucket when both n->pos and k are zero. This misses buckets whose live entries have all been removed while n->pos still points past deleted slots. The core issue is a mismatch between: - a 16-bit length accumulator (`struct ipv6_txoptions::opt_flen`, type `__u16`) and - a pointer to the *last* provided destination-options header (`opt->dst1opt`) when multiple `IPV6_DSTOPTS` control messages (cmsgs) are provided. - `include/net/ipv6.h`: - `struct ipv6_txoptions::opt_flen` is `__u16` (wrap possible). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conntrack_expect: use expect->helper Use expect->helper in ctnetlink and /proc to dump the helper name. Using nfct_help() without holding a reference to the master conntrack is unsafe. Use exp->master->helper in ctnetlink path if userspace does not provide an explicit helper when creating an expectation to retain the existing behaviour. The ctnetlink expectation path holds the reference on the master conntrack and nf_conntrack_expect lock and the nfnetlink glue path refers to the master ct that is attached to the skb.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix unsound scalar forking in maybe_fork_scalars() for BPF_OR maybe_fork_scalars() is called for both BPF_AND and BPF_OR when the source operand is a constant. When dst has signed range [-1, 0], it forks the verifier state: the pushed path gets dst = 0, the current path gets dst = -1. For BPF_AND this is correct: 0 & K == 0. For BPF_OR this is wrong: 0 | K == K, not 0. The pushed path therefore tracks dst as 0 when the runtime value is K, producing an exploitable verifier/runtime divergence that allows out-of-bounds map access. Fix this by passing env->insn_idx (instead of env->insn_idx + 1) to push_stack(), so the pushed path re-executes the ALU instruction with dst = 0 and naturally computes the correct result for any opcode.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_mass_storage: Fix potential integer overflow in check_command_size_in_blocks() The `check_command_size_in_blocks()` function calculates the data size in bytes by left shifting `common->data_size_from_cmnd` by the block size (`common->curlun->blkbits`). However, it does not validate whether this shift operation will cause an integer overflow. Initially, the block size is set up in `fsg_lun_open()` , and the `common->data_size_from_cmnd` is set up in `do_scsi_command()`. During initialization, there is no integer overflow check for the interaction between two variables. So if a malicious USB host sends a SCSI READ or WRITE command requesting a large amount of data (`common->data_size_from_cmnd`), the left shift operation can wrap around. This results in a truncated data size, which can bypass boundary checks and potentially lead to memory corruption or out-of-bounds accesses. Fix this by using the check...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atm: fix crash due to unvalidated vcc pointer in sigd_send() Reproducer available at [1]. The ATM send path (sendmsg -> vcc_sendmsg -> sigd_send) reads the vcc pointer from msg->vcc and uses it directly without any validation. This pointer comes from userspace via sendmsg() and can be arbitrarily forged: int fd = socket(AF_ATMSVC, SOCK_DGRAM, 0); ioctl(fd, ATMSIGD_CTRL); // become ATM signaling daemon struct msghdr msg = { .msg_iov = &iov, ... }; *(unsigned long *)(buf + 4) = 0xdeadbeef; // fake vcc pointer sendmsg(fd, &msg, 0); // kernel dereferences 0xdeadbeef In normal operation, the kernel sends the vcc pointer to the signaling daemon via sigd_enq() when processing operations like connect(), bind(), or listen(). In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Defer sub-object cleanup in export put callbacks svc_export_put() calls path_put() and auth_domain_put() immediately when the last reference drops, before the RCU grace period. RCU readers in e_show() and c_show() access both ex_path (via seq_path/d_path) and ex_client->name (via seq_escape) without holding a reference. If cache_clean removes the entry and drops the last reference concurrently, the sub-objects are freed while still in use, producing a NULL pointer dereference in d_path. Commit 2530766492ec ("nfsd: fix UAF when access ex_uuid or ex_stats") moved kfree of ex_uuid and ex_stats into the call_rcu callback, but left path_put() and auth_domain_put() running before the grace period because both may sleep and call_rcu callbacks execute in softirq context. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Hold net reference for the lifetime of /proc/fs/nfs/exports fd The /proc/fs/nfs/exports proc entry is created at module init and persists for the module's lifetime. exports_proc_open() captures the caller's current network namespace and stores its svc_export_cache in seq->private, but takes no reference on the namespace. If the namespace is subsequently torn down (e.g. container destruction after the opener does setns() to a different namespace), nfsd_net_exit() calls nfsd_export_shutdown() which frees the cache. Subsequent reads on the still-open fd dereference the freed cache_detail, walking a freed hash table. Hold a reference on the struct net for the lifetime of the open file descriptor. This prevents nfsd_net_exit() from running -- and thus prevents nfsd_export_shutdown() from freeing the cache -- while any exports fd is open. cache_detail already stores its net pointer (cd->net, set by cache_create_net(...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: fix heap overflow in NFSv4.0 LOCK replay cache The NFSv4.0 replay cache uses a fixed 112-byte inline buffer (rp_ibuf[NFSD4_REPLAY_ISIZE]) to store encoded operation responses. This size was calculated based on OPEN responses and does not account for LOCK denied responses, which include the conflicting lock owner as a variable-length field up to 1024 bytes (NFS4_OPAQUE_LIMIT). When a LOCK operation is denied due to a conflict with an existing lock that has a large owner, nfsd4_encode_operation() copies the full encoded response into the undersized replay buffer via read_bytes_from_xdr_buf() with no bounds check. This results in a slab-out-of-bounds write of up to 944 bytes past the end of the buffer, corrupting adjacent heap memory. This can be triggered remotely by an unauthenticated attacker with two cooperating NFSv4.0 clients: one sets a lock with a large owner string, then the other requests a conflicting ...

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: fix cache_request leak in cache_release When a reader's file descriptor is closed while in the middle of reading a cache_request (rp->offset != 0), cache_release() decrements the request's readers count but never checks whether it should free the request. In cache_read(), when readers drops to 0 and CACHE_PENDING is clear, the cache_request is removed from the queue and freed along with its buffer and cache_head reference. cache_release() lacks this cleanup. The only other path that frees requests with readers == 0 is cache_dequeue(), but it runs only when CACHE_PENDING transitions from set to clear. If that transition already happened while readers was still non-zero, cache_dequeue() will have skipped the request, and no subsequent call will clean it up. Add the same cleanup logic from cache_read() to cache_release(): after decrementing readers, check if it reached 0 with CACHE_PENDING clear, and if so, deq...

Replace call_rcu/kfree_rcu with queue_rcu_work(), which defers the callback until after the RCU grace period and executes it in process context where...

CVE-2026-31403

CVE-2026-31402

CVE-2026-31401

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: bpf: prevent buffer overflow in hid_hw_request right now the returned value is considered to be always valid. However, when playing with HID-BPF, the return value can be arbitrary big, because it's the return value of dispatch_hid_bpf_raw_requests(), which calls the struct_ops and we have no guarantees that the value makes sense.

CVE-2026-31400
