Atril Document Viewer is the default document reader of the MATE desktop environment for Linux. A single-click remote code execution vulnerability in versions prior to 1.26.3 and 1.28.4 allows an attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution as the user by tricking them into clicking a link inside a malicious PDF document. The PDF can be packaged as a polyglot file that is simultaneously a valid PDF and a valid ELF shared library, making the attack a single-file, single-click, configuration-independent RCE on stock atril installations. The root cause is `shell/ev-application.c:ev_spawn`, which builds a command line from attacker-controlled PDF link-destination fields without applying `g_shell_quote`. The cmdline is then handed to `g_app_info_create_from_commandline`, which shell-parses it back into argv — splitting any embedded `--gtk-module=PATH` into a separate argv element. cpp-httplib is a C++11 single-file header-only cross platform HTTP/HTTPS library. Prior to 0.44.0, When the server has called Server::set_trusted_proxies() with a non-empty trusted-proxy list, an attacker can send an HTTP request that includes an X-Forwarded-For header whose value parses to no valid IP segments. The code path then executes get_client_ip(), which calls front() on an empty std::vector—undefined behavior in C++. On typical implementations this manifests as abnormal process termination (denial of service). With Sanitizers enabled, you get an explicit runtime diagnostic. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.44.0.

Apache Artemis before version 2.52.0 is affected by an authentication bypass flaw which allows reading all messages exchanged via the broker and injection of new message ( CVE-2026-27446 https://www.cve.org/CVERecord ). Since KNIME Business Hub uses Apache Artemis it is also affected by the issue. However, since Apache Artemis is not exposed to the outside it requires at least normal user privileges and the ability to execute workflows in an executor. Such a user can install and register a federated mirror without authentication to the original Apache Artemis instance and thereby read all internal messages and inject new messages. The issue affects all versions of KNIME Business Hub. A fixed version of Apache Artemis is shipped with versions 1.18.0, 1.17.4, and 1.16.3. We recommend updating to a fixed version as soon as possible since no workaround is known.

Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0479, a command injection vulnerability exists in tar#Vimuntar() in runtime/autoload/tar.vim when decompressing .tgz archives on Unix-like systems. The function builds :!gunzip and :!gzip -d commands using shellescape(tartail) without the {special} flag, allowing a crafted archive filename to trigger Vim cmdline-special expansion and execute shell commands in the user's context. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.2.0479.

A flaw was found in the GNU Binutils BFD library, a widely used component for handling binary files such as object files and executables. The issue occurs when processing specially crafted XCOFF object files, where a relocation type value is not properly validated before being used. lldpd is an implementation of IEEE 802.1ab (LLDP). Prior to version 1.0.22, lldpd_decode() in src/daemon/lldpd.c strips 802.1Q VLAN tags from received Ethernet frames by calling memmove() to shift the frame payload 4 bytes left. The third argument (byte count) is s - 2 * ETHER_ADDR_LEN but should be s - 2 * ETHER_ADDR_LEN - 4, causing a 4-byte heap buffer over-read past the malloc(h_mtu) allocation when the received frame size equals the interface MTU. This issue has been patched in version 1.0.22.

Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 22.0.0-next.12, 21.2.13, 20.3.21, and 19.2.22, a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in @angular/platform-server. The issue stems from how the server-side rendering (SSR) engine processes the request URL provided to the rendering entry points. When an absolute-form URL (e.g., http://evil.com) is passed to the rendering engine, the internal ServerPlatformLocation can be manipulated into adopting the attacker-controlled domain as the "current" hostname. Consequently, any relative HttpClient requests or PlatformLocation.hostname references are redirected to the attacker controlled server, potentially exposing internal APIs or metadata services. This vulnerability is fixed in 22.0.0-next.12, 21.2.13, 20.3.21, and 19.2.22.

From 3.0.0 until 3.10.1, the selector lexer matchRegexPattern closure in (*Tokenizer).parseCurRune in selector/lexer/tokenize.go loops while tokenizing an unterminated regex literal such as r/ because peekRuneEqual returns false after the end of input, allowing attacker-controlled selector strings to consume CPU indefinitely. This issue is fixed in version 3.10.1.
