CVE-2026-11998
A flaw in AngularJS' Strict Contextual Escaping (SCE) logic allows bypassing certain SCE policies for resource URLs and can lead to arbitrary JavaScript execution within the context of the victim's browser session. SCE's purpose is to ensure that only trusted or safe values are used in certain security-sensitive contexts, such as resource URLs, including URLs that define executable JavaScript scripts, '<iframe>' documents, route templates, etc. A flaw in the logic that tries to match entire URLs against regular expression matchers can result in partial matches for certain types of regular expressions, effectively bypassing the policies and allowing the use of unsafe values as resource URLs. This issue affects AngularJS versions greater than or equal to 1.2.0-rc.3. CVE-2026-11986
A flaw was found in the admin-ui-ext component of Keycloak, which provides extended administrative user interface capabilities. The issue occurs because certain bulk role-removal endpoints fail to perform granular permission checks when deleting role mappings. This allows a delegated administrator with limited permissions to remove highly privileged roles from other users or groups, potentially disrupting administrative access control.
CVE-2026-11979
libxml2 is vulnerable to multiple stack-based buffer overflows in the xmlcatalog utility when running in --shell mode. The usershell() function processes user input using fixed-size stack buffers without proper bounds checking. By supplying an overly long input line, an attacker can overflow internal buffers (command, arg, and argv) during input parsing. This results in memory corruption within the stack frame. Successful exploitation may cause a crash or potentially allow arbitrary code execution in the context of the xmlcatalog process. This issue has been fixed in the commit c2e233fc. NOTE: The maintainers of this project did not agree that this issue is a vulnerability and considered it a bug.

An attacker can declare an arbitrarily large string (up to ~4.09 GB via the UInt32 length field) delivered across intermediate chunks without ever sending the final chunk. The server buffers all chunks in RAM indefinitely until the SecureChannel times out. The attack is pre-session and bypasses all encryption configurations. The issue affects open62541: from 1.4.0 through 1.4.16, from 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, master.
