ACE vulnerability in conditional configuration file processing by QOS.CH logback-core up to and including version 1.5.36 in Java applications, allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code circumventing existing protections against CVE-2025-11226 by compromising an existing logback configuration file or by injecting an environment variable before program execution. A successful attack requires the presence of Janino library to be present on the user's class path. In addition, the attacker must  have write access to a configuration file. Alternatively, the attacker could inject a malicious environment variable pointing to a malicious configuration file. In both cases, the attack requires existing privilege. Please note that in logack version 1.5.37 conditional processing using Janino was removed.

A flow has been identified into dnssec.c library, causing an infinite loop to dnsmasq service. An attacker who controls any DNSSEC-signed zone can hang the dnsmasq process with a single crafted response, killing all DNS resolution for its clients.

The email module, specifically the "BytesGenerator" class, didn’t properly quote newlines for email headers when serializing an email message allowing for header injection when an email is serialized. This is only applicable if using "LiteralHeader" writing headers that don't respect email folding rules, the new behavior will reject the incorrectly folded headers in "BytesGenerator".

A flaw was found in Apicurio Registry. The DocumentBuilderAccessor correctly blocks external DTD and schema access but does not disable DOCTYPE declarations or enable FEATURE_SECURE_PROCESSING. An attacker with artifact-write permission can upload XML documents with internal entity-expansion payloads (billion-laughs variant) that cause CPU and heap exhaustion, partially mitigated by the JAXP default 64,000 entity-expansion limit.

A flaw was found in Apicurio Registry. The WSDLReaderAccessor creates a wsdl4j WSDLReader without disabling the javax.wsdl.importDocuments feature. When the VALIDITY rule is set to FULL, an attacker with Developer-role access can upload a WSDL document containing attacker-controlled import locations, causing the registry to issue HTTP requests to arbitrary internal URLs (server-side request forgery).

A flaw was found in Apicurio Registry. The ContentTypeUtil.isParsableXml() method creates a SAXParserFactory without enabling secure processing features or disabling external entity resolution. An attacker with artifact-write permission (or unauthenticated when the registry runs with default configuration) can upload a crafted XML document to trigger blind server-side request forgery (SSRF) via external DTD/entity fetch, or cause denial of service via entity expansion.

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in dnsmasq's find_soa() function in src/rfc1035.c. When parsing NS section records, extract_name() is called with extrabytes=0, failing to validate that 10 additional bytes exist for fixed-length DNS record fields. A remote attacker controlling a DNS zone can exploit this via a crafted NXDOMAIN response to cause a 10-byte heap out-of-bounds read, potentially accessing stale data from prior transactions.

A memory leak in the tls-crypt-v2 client key extraction in OpenVPN 2.5.0 through 2.6.20 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory exhaustion) via a flood of crafted packets

A flaw was found in libtiff. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted PixarLog-compressed TIFF image. This issue occurs when decoding Pixarlog codec images with the PIXARLOGDATAFMT_8BITABGR output format and a specific stride value, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow. This could potentially result in arbitrary code execution or a denial of service (DoS).
