A locking flaw was found in the Amazon ENA (Elastic Network Adapter) driver in the Linux kernel. The ena_devlink_alloc() function calls devl_param_driverinit_value_set() without first acquiring the required devlink lock. This triggers a lock assertion warning in devl_assert_locked() during driver probe, indicating improper synchronization when updating devlink parameters.

This issue causes a kernel warning during ENA driver initialization on Amazon EC2 instances. The missing lock could theoretically lead to race conditions if devlink parameters are accessed concurrently, but the practical impact is limited to a warning message during driver probe. No crash or data corruption has been observed from this issue.
